On July 25, 2017, at 09: 00-17: 00 at the TUV AUSTRIA ACADEMY a "BLS / AED, ERC" Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS / AED) seminar will be held, based on the provision of certified basic knowledge and training for the use of Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) using the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) in cases of cardiac arrest in adults, according to the new guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC). It is addressed to all Citizens, Students, Paramedics, Members of Voluntary Rescue Groups, Security Bodies etc. The seminar has a total duration of 5 hours, is approved and certified by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC). At the end of the seminar, the ERC, which is the only officially recognized organization in Europe to implement and certify BLS / AED provider courses, certificates will be given to successful trainees which last for 3 years (with international recognition) . The last lesson was held for the Teenage Rescue School of EPOMEA Egaleo in full attendance, on how to Immobilize an injured victim with the use of a neck collar and a vest. The program ended with the best impressions for everyone. A lesson for the organization and use of a fully equiped First Aid kit was held for the Teenage Rescuers.
They came in contact with the basic materials that a pharmacy needs to have for wound care, but also how we treat an injured person.
A fun and adrenaline induscing lesson was held for Teen rescuers at Saturday's meeting!
After coming in terms with the most functional knots, they had the opportunity to experience climbing and descending a building using a rescue tripod.
True to their duty, the Teen Rescuers were present on Saturday's meeting, attending the course of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Another lesson was held yesterday for the Mountain Rescue Department of EPOMEA Egaleo. Trainees practiced knots, anchorages and multipaths. They also met the operation of the trip / descend tripod, which is one of the most important rescue tools. Mr Pervelis Panagiotis, diving and water rescue instructor of the Hellenic Air Force, conducted a 3- hour theoretical lesson on rescue diving, followed by a brief seminar on water rescue for our newest volunteers.
The second lesson contained basic principles and rules of proper diving behavior and presented the necessary equipment of a diver and its use.
