First aid coverage of the first service at the local temple of Egaleo
After coming in contact with the clergy of the local temple in Egaleo, a group of 15 rescuers took care of the safety of the pilgrims and dealt with any health incident that required first aid, as it was a long time since the last service and the expected number of pilgrims was believed to be high.
However, the first aid coverage went smoothly, without incident. The volunteers, equipped with infrared thermometers, masks and antiseptics, helped the pilgrims from 7:00am to 10:00am, following faithfully the security measures issued by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection and the Ministry of Health.
