Excursion to Olympus
The warmest weekend of summer was spent by EPOMEA members on Mount Olympus, the mountain of the Olympic gods. Members of the Elite Team Special Missions of Egaleo and Volos camped for two days at the Christakis Shelter at 2,450m along with visitors of EPOMEA from Thessaloniki and Larissa. The program included an ascent to Kakoskala to the top of Skolios at an altitude of 2,912 m. The experience was unique and the images we saw were simply divine!
