Sanctification ceremony for the educational period of 2022-2023

The annual sanctification ceremony for the beginning of the new educational year 2022-2023 was held on Saturday 1/10/2022 in the forecourt of the offices of EP.OM.EA Aegaleo, with the presence of outstanding guests and friends.
We found ourselves again in front of a new starting point, the start of the new educational year for our volunteers, participating at the 11th recruitment group.
As volunteering has no nuance and is above interests and vanities, our event was honored with the presence of people who actively support our work:

•The Consecration was performed by Father Petros Haloulos and then the President of the EP.OM.EA. Aegaleo and EP.OM.EA. Greece, George Roumeliotis took the floor, addressing a small greeting to the attendees.

• The evening was, also, of special importance for EP.OM.EA., as the offer of a rescue vehicle from the New Voutza Volunteer Fire Brigade of Provalinthos (PYSETH) took place, which will be integrated into the fleet of EP.OM.EA., followed by the formalization with the signing of a memorandum of twinning of the two groups.
• With particular emotion, the Governor of PYSETH Kyriakos Damianoglou and the President of EPOMEA Giorgos Roumeliotis signed the memorandum and pointed characteristically that "Volunteering is expressed in solidarity and mutual help, something that expresses the cooperation of the two groups all these years"
• Afterwards, it was announced with great pleasure the start of the cooperation of EP.OM.EA. and the Penteli’s Volunteer Fire Department, after the agreement with the Chief, Firefighter, Liakos Nikolaos
• Closing, the President of EP.OM.EA. Giorgos Roumeliotis referred to the supporters of our group, who have stood and are standing in support of our efforts.

• To the former Deputy Mayor of Aegaleo and Municipal Councilor of the faction "Aegaleo New Era", Ioannis Dimomeleti, who owns a car repair shop and takes care of the maintenance of our official vehicles all these years
• To Ilias Theodoridis and the company Theodoridis - A Manolis OE, the authorized ISUZU workshop that is next to the team practically and morally in all moments, easy and difficult and practically supports our work.
• To Yiannis Karaiskos and the company Karaiskos Tools for his long-term and multifaceted support to our team
• Our now volunteer Panagiotis Karavolos and his company TECHNOSAFETY which makes sure our boats are always ready and seaworthy and for sponsoring a YAMAHA 300HP engine for the rescue boat "POSEIDON".
• Parthena Nedelkou, our lawyer who is always by our side and provides her knowledge and services for the needs of our activities
We welcome our fellow volunteers to our family and wish everyone a good creative year with health, strength and endurance.
